Parents are always welcome to contact the studio with questions, concerns, or just to let me know how practicing is going at home.  While the lesson is an essential guide in the process of learning music, students do most of the work at home during their practice time.  Sometimes they are very honest with me about how that practice time is going.  Sometimes they are more evasive.  Many times I can tell by how they play at their lesson, but I am not a mind reader.  If there is an issue, it is important that you let me know so I can help the student succeed!
